Vice has been running a hilarious (and sobering) column for years now called London Rental Opportunity of the Week, which I stumbled on a few days ago; the author is hanging up his shingle and wrote a kiss-off to all landlords everywhere.

BreakAway launches affiliate to push ‘serious games’
“It was unclear Tuesday if BreakAway was planning a hiring push to staff its federal systems affiliate.
In July 2004, executives said they planned to add up to 40 new employees, nearly doubling in size, to handle growth on the “serious games” side of the business and also re-establish its brand in the gaming industry.”
Um, no, I don’t think they’re hiring anybody else.

File this under You Can’t Make This Shit Up: Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm, was fined $100M by the SEC after they found that employees were cheating on an ethics exam for over four years.
A significant number of EY professionals who did not cheat but knew their colleagues did, and facilitated the cheating, also violated the firm’s code of conduct by failing to report it.
I am shocked.

Interesting trivia: The entire rear deck of the Travelall is made from marine plywood. At some point somebody glued a heavy rubber mat over the whole thing, and it began disintegrating over the years from UV exposure. I pulled out the screws and pulled up the board last weekend: underneath, the stringers and steel are in fantastic shape. Bonus: I can pull the board up and overhaul the brake and suspension systems without having to crawl under it every time.
I had the chance to park next to this beauty at cars & coffee this morning, and got a full tour of French engineering.
Holy Shit. @curatorpdx just reminded me that on this day in 1993 I graduated from MICA with a BFA and a raging hangover. I was wearing a Boumi fez (and my roommate a rubber truck innertube) because we didn’t like the berets issued by the school. This shot is taken from a picture of a VHS still my Dad recorded because I don’t have any pictures from that day.
