Phail-adelphia – The city of Philadelphia’s new logo. Most of the comments are (in my opinion) much too harsh in regards to the design firm; this is clearly a product of design-by-committee. But the logo does suck.

I caught up with an old friend from high school this afternoon, and among other things he casually mentioned a Frank Lloyd Wright house that was recently built on an island in the middle of our hometown.

Be still my beating heart: FontXChange converts fonts to OpenType, TrueType or PS Type 1 format. And it works, too! This means I can retire my copy of FontMonger for good, and with it, any legacy need for OS 9. Sweet.
