We’re not getting our usual milk delivery on Wednesday, what with the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse about to bear down on us (there was no mail service today and I can’t even find the milkbox on the front porch), so we felt it would be prudent to stock up on some before the snow starts flying again. Luckily, there were a few half-gallons of organic left at the bottom of the racks, so all is well. Everybody seemed to be in pretty good spirits while I was there, too.

The weather up there looks INSANE. Are you going to work? If not, are y’all completely bored and stir-crazy yet?

I’m staying home today, not because I doubt my own driving skills, but because I doubt the skills of the rest of Greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area. That, and the fact that the snow will fly at approximately noon.

  3. Linda says:

Since we don’t get snow, the driving issue has a slightly different incarnation here: some people believe they possess the skills to drive when the roads are covered with ice. himself could not drive on ice, people: STAY THE EFF HOME.

  4. Linda says:

Aww hell – I put part of my comment in brackets so the HTML-assuming bastards dropped it:

“(famous racecar driver) himself could not drive on ice, people: STAY THE EFF HOME.”

We had a brief flurry at 11:30, and then it stopped.

I suppose you will swat me if I say that I actually *want* a storm at least once this year so I have a reason to stay home, won’t you? This whole thing is just wrong on so many levels…
