It was super-fast. The Cape is 50 miles or so away from here, and the shuttle’s main booster was visible for all of about 10-15 seconds until it went out. Then the only thing visible was a slight white speck on the sky that Jen had to point out to me.
Next time, I want to be close enough to feel the ground shake.
That’s awesome! Could you tell that it was moving super fast, or did it seem like airplane-speed fronm that distance?
