I updated the first H illustration with a better one. Pretend the first one did not exist. Another lesson learned:

The importance of scale in the size of the illustration. Depending on the density of detail, making something interesting out of large areas of nothing generally is not going to work. I’ve run into this problem many times before, but every once in a while I make the mistake again.

    Sometimes she wears her hair straight, as opposed to a little curled at the ends. Would straight hair be better or worse in the style of these drawings? Beats me.

    I was, but I didn’t actually click on any of the results. Just the results/thumbnail screen was hard-core enough. That guy’s an insufferable bastard already, but I loathe him all the more for putting me in a position to feel sorry for Paris friggin’ Hilton.
