We’re holed up in the house for the second snow day of the season; the forecast is 4-6″ over the course of the day, but Mama tells me it’s been downgraded somewhat since the morning. Yesterday we had about 2″ of snow which turned to ice in the afternoon, and while the roads were clear by noon I thought it was best to avoid the nutjobs on the road.

This morning we woke to about 2″ down over the snow and another closed school day, so Mama made pumpkin pancakes and I cranked up my work laptop to get things done. At some point I’ll have to get outside and shovel the walk but for now it’s warm and dry in here.
