I went to school with Jason and remember him as an immensely talented visual artist. One day he stopped by my apartment and we geeked out on the new Bad Brains album together. His enthusiasm and his passion took me by surprise; little did I know he was as talented musically as he was artistically. I knew he’d go on to greater things after college, and I was always happy to hear the music he made.
