Wow, Tuesday already and I haven’t written anything about the weekend. Saturday was busy with errands, a little consulting, and a Finley/Daddy date night while Mama went out with a friend. Sunday was Scout Wrench Day in Chestertown, detailed here.
Last night I got the IPA racked into a keg and chilled. By tomorrow evening it should be carbonated and ready to taste. The Saison is still bubbling after a week and a half, so I’ll leave it in the fermenter for a full two weeks before taking a gravity reading.
We have Good Friday off this year, so I’m going to try and get the siding painted and some windows scraped, as well as planning the removal of our front hedges. I can’t wait to get a chain wrapped around those damned things.
Oh wow – don’t think I ever knew those hedges were going away. What’s the plan for after they’re gone?
