Yep. Sanding the floors is next on the list after I get the walls primed. The radiator stays, and there will be a flatscreen (god willing) mounted against the chimney with a couch under the windows.
Jealousie windows are dark, leaky, usually made poorly and/or broken, and generally undesirable in states where the frost line reaches 1″ by November. And they suck to clean. I would estimate that out of the 20 or so windows we had when we moved in the house, a total of four had working handles on the cranks. All the others were stripped, frozen, or missing.
As always, I geek out over renovation pics almost as much as the ones of FRD.
So you’re definitely salvaging the floors, right? And are you keeping that kickass old radiator?
And did I make it up or is the plan for this to be a TV/family space, and the current living room will become a bit more formal?

Wowee…I love seeing actual casement windows in there instead of those horrible old jalousy contraptions. Awesome.
Hey! I think jalousie windows look cool! <- says the girl who's never had to actually live with jalousie windows.
